General Danjuma's Personal Assistant Charged to Court for Defrauding him of 2 Billion Naira

A special assistant to former Defence Minister, Lt. Gen. T. Y. Danjuma (retd), Manasseh Zorto, was on Friday brought before a Federal High Court in Lagos State for allegedly defrauding his boss of N2bn.
The suspect, who was said to be on the run, could not be arraigned before Justice Okon Abang on Friday.
When the matter was called, the counsel to the Special Fraud Unite, Chief Godwin Obla, said the police were having challenges in bringing the accused to court.

Lagos-At least 39 foreign nationals were ,yesterday, arrested by Police and Immigration officers in two hotels on Lagos Island. It was gathered that they were arrested following a tip-off by some residents of the area over fears of the spread of Ebola virus disease.

Woman sits 14-year-old girl on hotplate for bed-wetting

The Dutsen Alhaji Police Division of the Federal Capital Territory Police Command, Abuja, has arrested a woman, Mrs. Roseline Uzoamaka, for allegedly brutalising her 14-year-old relative, identified simply as Sarah, because she was bed-wetting.
Our correspondent learnt that Uzoamaka allegedly forced the teenager to sit on a burning electric cooker until the girl sustained severe burns in her private parts as a punishment for urinating on the bed.

Police Arrest Robbers who Raped Pastor’s daughter


The Oyo State Police Command has arrested four robbers who dispossessed a clergy of two cars and raped his daughter.
Commissioner of Police in the state, Sam Okaula, said the clergy reported the robbery at the Sanyo Police Division on July 21, a day after the incident.
Okaula said, “The pastor reported that around 11.45pm, four armed robbers jumped into his compound and ordered him to open the door which he did at gun point. They ordered those in the house to lie down while they gathered valuable items.

Dog killed after teenager was caught having SEX with it



A teenager has been arrested after it was alleged that he had sex with a dog.
Named only as Osagiator, the 19-year-old is reported to have taken the dog to a construction site where he was spotted by an onlooker.
As a result of the perceived shame brought on the community, the dog has been killed.
George Ogbonmwan said that he thought the teen was trying to steal the dog so he called owner Garuba Samari over.

Man died after vibrator became lodged inside him for FIVE days



A man died after a vibrator became lodged in his body and he was too embarrassed to see a doctor, an inquest heard today.
Nigel Willis, 50, could not remove the sex aid and spent five days lying on the sofa of the home he shared with his elderly mother in Forest Hill, southeast London.
Mr Willis was left dizzy, weak and unable to move, Southwark Coroners' Court heard.
The diabetic was rushed to Lewisham Hospital on 30 December 2013 after a friend begged him to get help.

Man stabs his wife to death for infecting him with HIV

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a man, Phillip Katongu, for allegedly stabbing his wife to death.

Katongu, who hails from Wamba, Nasarawa State, was apprehended by operatives of the Department of Criminal Investigations, Yaba, Lagos.

The police said the victim, Justina, was stabbed to death in a street at Oniru Estate, Maroko, Lagos, where she and her husband were living.

Landlady’s children cut tenant’s private parts


A 35-year-old man, Yinka Offehin, is battling for his life at a private hospital in Lagos State after his scrotum was cut by the children of his landlady.
The Edo State indigene, who resides on Popoola Street, off Abaranje Road in the Ikotun area of Lagos, was said to have been attacked while sleeping in his room with his family members.
His wife, Bisi, who was with him when the incident happened, identified the assailants as Solomon and Damilola, the children of the landlady.

Robbers Strike After Writing to inform Residents of their Impending Visit


A 12-man robbery gang attacked five communities in Ijoko Otta Ifo, local Government area, Ogun state, southwest Nigeria, seven days after writing the residents to prepare for their visit.
However, five of the robbers were killed during a gun duel with a police Anti-Robbery team from Agbado Police Station who responded to a distress call.
One of the robbers was arrested, while the other six escaped.

Residents of Elerinko Estate in Ijoko-Ota in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State, western Nigeria, have received an unsual letter asking them to be ready for unwanted guests.
The unwanted guests are armed robbers who wrote the letter asking the residents to keep money for them ahead of the visit or face dire consequences.
